Review of The Sorcerer's Dream
"Dreamshield has an engaging narrative style and tells stories that are engrossing. There is a lack of literature on female sorcerers and this book makes an admirable effort to fill this lacuna. When, at the end, she attains “totality,” the reader will share her exaltation."
Stanley Krippner, Ph.D. Alan Watts Profess of Psychology, Saybrook University (SF, USA).

  THE SORCERER'S DREAM
An initiation into the sorcerer's world and
         mastering lucid dreaming

A true story of initiation into the Native American sorcerer’s tradition by Alysa Braceau, Dreamshield. The author gives us a glimpse into the very real world of lucid dreaming and astral projection. Her direct experiences with a modern day mystic, Running Deer, takes the work of Castaneda one step further. In The Sorcerer’s Dream, she reveals unique steps to mastering lucid dreaming and traveling to the unknown.

..discover the hidden power of lucid dreaming

In this native tradition, lucid dreaming is the vehicle to discover your True Self and the way to heal yourself and others. Get the road map! Dreamshield explains the teachings from Shaman and Sorcerer Running Deer in a way that the reader can also use it as a guide to practice the art of (lucid) dreaming and to explore sorcery and shamanism. This story gives you inspiration to illuminate your own spiritual path.

"It is important to confront yourself with these dreams. Unpleasant dreams disappear when you fixate them. All that remains is beauty, wisdom and strength and the fear of certain situations will vanish permanently."
Running Deer

Beyond what Carlos Castaneda (and others) describes as the first line of knowledge, coming from the Toltecs, and Aztecs, you can learn more about the Native American’s second line tradition: the path of Monumental Beauty. Ordinary dreams will come to a stop and will be replaced by images of beauty to heal yourself and your dreams.
The author explores the many aspects of the dreaming state and how to distinguish ordinary dreaming from dreaming of the spirit. Dreamshield describes her lucid dreaming experiences with regard to her discoveries on rising sexual energy as well as spiritual healing. In this tradition, you learn how to master your dreaming by raising your sexual energy. She shares her experiences with magic mushrooms and explains their identity and role in traditional dreaming ceremonies.

Lucid dreaming is fun and it gives you a lot of energy building up your energy- or dream body by doing the practices in this workshop on spiritual, mental and physical level.
Learning to dream consciously really starts with attentiveness, being aware of your surroundings and your actions in daily life. And by writing down your dreams down and to leave no detail behind it becomes clearer what has happened in the dream and that gives you an overall awareness.
If you are aware of this reality and consciously deal with your dreams, you will find out that your dreams develop and that you become conscious  in your dreams.
If you participate I ask  you to start keeping a dream journal: to write every morning your dreams, impressions and / or feelings of the previous night. Find out if you see the connection between what you are experiencing in day and dreaming reality.
